FAQS
WHAT IS A MVIT NOW CONVERSION KIT?
A Mvit Now conversion kit takes an ordinary existing product and transforms it into a Wi-Fi enabled smart device. From opening/closing gates to feeding your pet on a set schedule, mvit Now conversion kits enable you to easily transform the world around you.
HOW DO I MAKE AN ORDER?
We are going to launch a Kickstarter campaign soon and will update our site with more details.
WHO USES THESE KITS?
Mvit Now Conversion Kits have two main groups of users:
Anyone who wants to easily turn ordinary everyday objects/products into smart internet-controlled devices by attaching out motor device and the 3D-printed parts to existing products.
Individuals, artists and craftsmen who want a ready-to-go plug-n-play motor device that adds motion to their projects without the hassle of writing software or soldering individual electronic components on a consumer-grade board.
HOW DO I ADD A MVIT NOW DEVICE TO MY OWN PROJECT OR GADGET?
Easy. Just purchase our DIY Smart Motor Device Kit, download our MVITNOW app to your smartphone which will walk you through the steps of adding the device to your local Wi-Fi network, then start using the smart motor device and the provided 3D-printed accessories in your own project. Is that simple.
DO YOU SELL ACCESSORIES?
We create our own 3D-printed accessories that we sell as part of our conversion kits. Contact us if you have something specific in mind that is not currently offered.
CAN'T I JUST USE SOMETHING LIKE A RASPBERRY PI ANDÂ MOTORSÂ IN MY PROJECT TO ACHIEVE THE SAME GOAL INSTEAD OF BUYING A MVIT NOW SMART MOTOR DEVICE?
Sure, you could add motion to your gadget/project using a small single-board computer like a Raspberry Pi along with a handful of other components, parts and opensource software. But with mvit Now smart devices and accessories all that effort is neatly packaged into an easy-to-use device that is plug-n-play and configurable via our mobile app. Our products get you up and running in no time, saving you time and effort to focus on other aspects of your project.
